We are often asked what differentiates us from the competition. The most important thing is our people. Microsoft Dynamics and bcFood are the software tools we depend on, but even the best tools are useless unless they are placed in skilled hands and used for their intended purpose.
Below is an introduction to our management team.
Chief Executive Officer
Bruno has more than years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Bruno’s background is in design, development, programming, and the integration of applications within the Microsoft Dynamics environment. Bruno served as a consultant/system developer for a large international Navision Solution Center in Europe. He has worked in a similar role for other Navision Solution Centers, as well as the Center for Information Technology in Education in Lund, Sweden.
His degrees include an MS in Computer Science and undergraduate in Business Administration and Economics, with an emphasis on Strategic Management and Control Systems. Bruno has worked with the Navision/Microsoft Dynamics product since 1998.
Bruno is fluent in Swedish.
Dirk has more than years of business experience, almost all of them involving Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Previously holding positions such as Software Designer and Project Manager, he has extensive experience in software design, programming, implementation, and project management.
In addition to his Master’s Degree in Information Management and Auditing from Katholieke Universiteit Brabant in the Netherlands, he has had multiple articles published in Dutch trade magazines. Dirk has worked with the Navision/Microsoft Dynamics product since 1998.
Dirk is fluent in Dutch and German.
Vice President Implementation and Project Management
Elayna has more than years of accounting, finance, and business administration experience, with more than of those years involving Microsoft Dynamics NAV. She provides overall leadership and ensures the effective management and administration of Beck’s implementations and project management operations. As the lead for the company’s Project Teams, Elayna is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic, long term operational best practices, plans, and procedures.
Elayna has had a great deal of experience in the accounting and business consulting world, and has extensively worked with areas such as complex reporting, distribution, currency, consolidations, and complex inventory-based businesses. She has held positions in public accounting firms, volunteered with the US Peace Corps, and worked as an independent consultant.
Elayna holds a BS in Business Administration from University of California, Berkeley – Walter A. Haas School of Business. She is a Certified Public Accountant – Inactive (CPA), a Project Management Professional (PMP), and has recently completed the Advanced Project Management program at Stanford University.
Elayna is fluent in Spanish.
General Manager and Director of Business Development
John has more than years of operational and management experience. John’s career began at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (formed by the merger with Coopers & Lybrand), an international “Big 4” public accounting and consulting firm, before transitioning to industry, where he held such key senior management positions as CFO, VP Finance & Operations, and VP Sales & Marketing.
John has hands on, in-depth knowledge in many areas, including strategic business unit planning, sales, marketing, procurement, accounting, finance, and human resources. His experience covers a broad range of projects and industry types, such as Food Service, Distribution, Medical Device, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Professional & Financial Services, Transportation, Publishing, Insurance, and Steel.
John holds a BS in Accounting from Seton Hall University. He is an active member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and is fluent in Portuguese.
Outside of work he enjoys cooking and baking with his better half, spending time with his two children, and designing and constructing residential housing.
Jeremy has more than years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. His focus is on building and maintaining solid, lasting, and mutually beneficial relationships with his clients. Jeremy is skilled at implementing, developing, and managing projects for a broad range of projects and industry types, including Food, Distribution, Manufacturing, High-tech, and Service.
Jeremy holds a dual degree in Accounting and Computer Science from Western Washington University. He is a Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA), a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, and has recently completed the Advanced Project Management program at Stanford University.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking in the great Pacific Northwest with his wife Mikala and trusty dog Tate, traveling, playing the guitar, and spending time at the beach whenever possible. He and Mikala just welcomed their first child, Sydney, so the opportunities for those free time activities will be few and far between.
National Account Executive
Cheryl has more than years of business experience, many of which have been spent working with Microsoft’s Dynamics NAV and GP ERP software products. In the past, she has managed strategic accounts as an account executive for companies such as Unisys, Motorola, Stratus, and ePartners.
She has extensive experience in the recipe/formula-driven process manufacturing market, as well as selling ERP software to mid-size processors, manufacturers, and distributors of food, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and chemicals that are subject to regulation by the FDA and USDA. Her responsibilities have included strategic sales planning, market expansion, channel management, and vendor relations.
Cheryl is a huge proponent of NAV community-driven industry forums, specifically NAVUG and Directions, and enjoys the opportunity they provide to connect with fellow NAV professionals.
