Ever since taking on a hamburger restaurant as our very first customer back in 1986, we have been helping small to mid-sized food companies use technology and software to resolve the challenges of growth and ever-changing regulations. Our location in the central valley of California put us in direct contact with many agricultural and dairy businesses, and we quickly became experts in the issues, needs, and concerns that are unique to the food industry.
As our experience grew and we learned more about what was most important to our customers, we determined that, while some ERP systems provided a good starting point, no existing solution fully met the exact needs of food companies. Areas like lot traceability, recipe definition, inventory costing, and trade pricing/deals were either underdeveloped or absent altogether in existing applications. So, we took the logical next step and built our own. bcFood is the product of our more than three decades of experience with food processors, manufacturers, and distributors. Built atop Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP software, bcFood improves upon virtually every business area with enhancements developed specifically with food companies in mind.

Our offices can be found in every region of the United States.
We now supplement bcFood with add-ons for EDI, multi-carrier integrations, and mobile warehousing.
But, amidst all these changes, our mission to serve our customers with integrity and competence while empowering them with the best tools to run their business remains the same.
